Portable Shock Tube Sealing Units

This compact ultrasonic sealer is designed for sealing of the ends of shock tube producing an excellent seal at a cycle time of +/-1.5 seconds.
Once powered on and air connected, the unit is ready to go with a zero warm-up period. When the end of the shock tube is inserted, a single ultrasonic horn will compress onto the tube and seal the end, then retract releasing the cord for the operator to remove. The duration of the Ultrasonic action is around 0.5-0.6 seconds and the additional time will be the back trigger and pneumatic movement of the horn.
An electrical proximity switch (back trigger) initiates the cycle and both the pressure and sealing time are adjustable. 220VAC single phase must be supplied to the unit through a gland at the rear of the unit.
The unit’s final weight is aprox. 18 kg each. The dimensions with carry handle are: 470mm H x 295mm D x 225mm W. Crated Dimensions and Weight are 550x410x320 and 26kg’s.
